We love Financial Fitness! We came up with a mortgage pay-off challenge by coming up with a few steps. 1) The burning desire to become debt-free. We were sitting at $110K of debt (we’ve been able to cut that down to less than half now) and we are now within 12 months of being debt free! 2) Communication with your spouse. 3) Developing a budget and following the budget 4) We use a cash envelop system that helps us stick to our budget. 5) Patience. By following these steps we’ve been able to make a significant difference in both our relationship and our debt reduction.

I just want to say that the Financial Fitness Program is amazing. Because of this
information, last year, in December, it was the first time that we paid for all of our
Christmas presents in cash. And right now, I’m on my way to the bank to pay off
$5,000. I’m so thrilled that we were able to implement all of the principles into our daily
routine, and I’m so excited because I’m one step closer to paying off all of our debt!
